I met someone the other day; a dear friend of mine introduced me to her.
From the moment she met me, she hated me.
She was rude, and almost from the moment she met me, she lit into me. What made it even worse was that I was really nice to her.
I mean, really nice.
My friend told me she was a bit of a pill, and I just let it go.
I’d never met anyone like her — I did nothing to her, but she simply did not stop fucking with me.
I have a high tolerance for most things, but I have no patience for someone who is cruel for no reason.
What her issue was with me I’ll never know, and frankly, I don’t care. I don’t care if she had emotional problems, I don’t care if she had a bad day, I don’t care if she was dropped on her head as a child.
I don’t care.
I do care that I was stupid enough to deal with her. And when I say stupid, I mean stupid.
2013, so far, sucks.

When someone says about another that “they’re nice, once you get to know them”; that just means “they’re a jerk but you’ll get used to it”.
Knew someone in college who just loved to argue for some reason. When people would walk away from him when he was in mid-sentence, it was great. He could never figure out that people weren’t walking away because they were conceding to him; but rather because they were tired of his BS and had better things to do with their time.
