Lately, I’ve been trying really hard not to be the A.B.W.… (Angry Black Woman) but I keep hearing these idiotic comments that keep pushing me into the A.Z. (Angry Zone). Seriously,… this new generation of constantly amazes me.  And, if I hear one more brother spew out words in defense of Chris Brown, I’m gonna summon Lorena Bobbitt on them!  Stuff like:

“Wow, it’s too bad, his career is down the tubes now. Because of her!”

“Man, I don’t think he hit her that hard… ya know, light-skinned people bruise easily.”

”She must’ve done something really jacked up to make him hit her… I bet she’s evil.”

SCREAMING:  “IT IS NEVER OKAY TO HIT A WOMAN!  NEVER FREAKING EVER!”

Chris Brown TOWERS over Rihanna!  Seriously!  Like a friggin’ giant!  And, I don’t care if she has a sassy mouth that cuts like 4000 razors, a tongue of a samurai sword, or if she gives lip service like a drunk ass sailor, on a sinking boat… SHE STILL DIDN’T DESERVE TO BE HIT!

Here are 3 things that are universally accepted, and ways you can handle it, if you choose to be with a woman who pisses you off:

1. Let’s say you catch her in bed with your BEST friend or the MAILMAN…Here is an idea… WALK AWAY!  How about that…? I know this sounds hard for you guys to envision… but it could really solve the problem.
2. Let’s say… uhm, your woman is pointing a gun at you… Here’s an idea… Knock the gun out of your hand, and if you don’t get shot… keep the gun… and DAMN IT, WALK AWAY!!! (If you call the police, HER azz will go to jail, for brandishing the weapon at you.)
3. OR… Let’s say, she talks about your mama, or verbally assaults you, or takes a baseball ball bat and smashes it over your television set while you’re watching Kobe in a playoff game where the Lakers are down by 3 points…?  WALK THE FUCK AWAY!

Great news guys!  All three of these little problem solvers will work EVERY TIME!!!

I was on the phone talking to my BFF.  And, while were talking about the Rihanna beating, his roommate said something like…”she must’ve crossed a line for him to hit her, and there “are” some reason’s you should hit a woman.”  After hearing his comments, I was taken aback, my mouth dropped, and my heart hurt for 2 days… I kept thinking….

Where are our gentlemen?  Are we losing them?  In this Jerry Springer, Maury Povich, 50 cent day and age, where men completely disrespect women in videos, and pimpin’ has become easy– what are we teaching our young boys?  Are we saying, it’s okay to your hit girlfriend if she pisses you off?  Are we telling these kids to feel sorry for the cute boy who might be losing his multi-million dollar contracts, as oppose to the girl who might’ve lost her hearing for life?

Whenever someone defends Chris Brown… I say to myself, “Suppose he had hit her and she died?”  Or Supposed he would’ve just WALKED AWAY.
