The Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles’ Illustration West 47 exhibition website is now live! Check out all the award winning work, which includes MDW’s own Kevin McCarthy winning the Gold Award in the inaugural Graphic Novels/Comic Books category. Also many thanks to MDW’s own Michael “MOTU” Davis and Mike Gold who graciously helped judge the competition. It was a labor of love organizing the show over the last year and a half, I hope you enjoy all!

Congratulations on the success of the Illustration West 47 Art show. I went to the show and was amazed at all the wonderful and talented artists that had their works showcased. I know “The Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles” appreciates all the hard work you put in for a year and half to make this show a success.
I know this was not an easy job because I personally saw all the hard work and hours you put into this job. Yes it is a job “a volunteer job” that takes a very dedicated person to accomplish. You did a very good job.
I am very proud of you and your dedication to the Society.
Congratulations to next years show chairperson.
