Ho Ho Ho, by Michael Davis – Straight No Chaser #144

I am far from being a perfect person.
There are some things I’ve done in my youth that I’m simply embarrassed and ashamed of. I’m ashamed not only because I did them, at the time I thought they were cool.
The things I did were nothing illegal, nothing against the law they were things that hurt other people and at the time I thought little of it. Over the years I’ve tried to make amends to some of the people I hurt but I will never be able to unburden myself fully. The older I get the more I’ve realized that it’s your deeds that define you. Not your status not your money, not what you drive or where you live.
None of that shit defines you. It’s your deeds that define you.
I’ve made more money than I ever would have imagined in my wildest dreams.
Money does not matter, it really does not matter.
I know its people who have money that seem to say shit like that. I’m telling you from personal experience if you are miserable with a zillion dollars in the bank being miserable will become your world. If you are one of those people who think money can solve all your problems I refer you the vast numbers of rich and famous people who have blown their own heads off.
Now, there are those people who are just fine living with the full knowledge that they have hurt people for personal gain or just because they don’t give a shit.
I call those people republicans. Sorry, I just couldn’t resist.
When I think back to all the bad things I’ve ever done to anyone I know in my heart of hearts that I’ve N E V E R done anything with the intention of causing anyone harm. If someone was hurt I may have minimized it but that was not my intention.
Let me be very clear, I would not hesitate in the least to crush anyone who tries to screw me on purpose. I can name quite a few people and one comic book company that simply will never fuck with me again because I’m nobody’s bitch.
That said unless you have done something to me that I find objectable (or messed with someone I care about) I’m a live and let live kind of guy. Hate me, hate what I do but do NOT screw with my brand.
Case in point not to long ago someone called me a lair. He straight out said he ‘doubted’ my version of how Milestone Media was created. He said that he had talked to some ‘insiders’ and that my version was wrong. This is all well and good-he’s entitled to believe whatever gossip comes his way. He can even add to it, but this guy did it in a public forum.
FUCK THAT.
I’m told over and over don’t address people like that. For the most part I ignore them. Like the assholes that recently interpreted my open letter to the new head of DC as a plea for me to let creators work for free. Nowhere in that letter did I say that. But that was nothing for me to get my panties (white lace with a red trim…hot) in a bunch.
However saying that my version of the company that I co-founded was a lie that cannot stand.
THAT is messing with my brand and that may one day affect the way I do business, WHICH is unacceptable on every level so I took action.
Like I said, hate me hate what I do, hate how I do it but DO NOT screw with my brand.
Alas, I am not a perfect person but I never, nor will I ever hurt someone intentionally. That’s just cruel and I’m a lot of things but I’m not cruel.
Tiger Woods have fallen from grace.
Hard.
He’s said he’s sorry for letting people down and hurting his family. I’m sure he is.
I’m also confident that among all the women who are now coming forward, some of them are full of shit. I hope that once Tiger regains his footing he puts that foot squarely in the ass of those lying bitches with a few lawsuits.
Yeah, I said it.
And I’ll say it again.
B I T C H E S.
If any of these women are making this up they are lying bitches. But I don’t want to paint my views of these women with such a wide brush. I’m not without compassion, if they are telling the truth then they are not lying bitches.
They are slut, ho bitches who are using their twats for a payday.
They knew he was married and knew they could profit from an affair. Why go public and do the kind of harm they are doing to him? I’ll tell you why…
HO.
One affair could hurt his brand badly but he could come back. Kobe Bryant was accused of raping a white girl and he came back. However Tiger Woods having MANY affairs becoming public at the same time seems to me a deliberate attempt to destroy a world famous BLACK MAN.
Fuck it, if I’m going to have a conspiracy theory I’m throwing in the race card, why not?
Tiger Woods is the greatest athlete of the 21st century and he’s black. If you can’t beat him, smear him.
I’m not excusing Tiger for what he did-in fact I could give a flake. Not my problem, in fact it’s no ones problem except Mrs. Tiger.
I hope he can keep his family, an important thought I’m sure is lost on all those women who are being now interviewed by TMZ. If I may I’d like to address those women with my closing thoughts.
Ladies, (chuckle) get all the money you can out of your 15 minutes. You may not realize this but NO other major celebrity will be paying for twat time. They are now well aware what kind of lady (giggle) you are and won’t take any chance with you. In other words your star fucking days are over.
One last thing, I’m pretty sure you have a watch but also sure that it’s there for fashion and not function so I’ll clue you in on something else…
15 minutes is not a long time.

Another fine piece of rage, laughs, and chortles Michael. To the haters: let em’ hate. To the liars: they’ll get theirs. To the HO’s: Using what G-D gave you to make a buck? Try your BRAIN next time.
If I could make one semi-argument: Money. It’s the root of a lot of evil. But it CAN make someone happy, if they know how to use it right. For example: I’m trying to buy a house, so that my new wife and I can settle down, and have a place all our own. I’ve worked very hard for the last 6 years to ensure everything would be in place so we could get a house. If I were a richer man? I’d slept well, instead of fretting about what would happen if I got the house, and then lost my job. Just saying.
To those mega millionaires who aren’t happy… it’s a matter at that point of looking inward. Material goods are nice to have, but they don’t make the man. Take away all my comics, my action figures, my video games? I’m still a kick ass artist and writer, with a smoking hot wife who loves me.
Take away your riches, your bitches, your barbies, and your website? You’re still the MOTU. Party on.

Marc,
I did not say money can’t ADD to your happiness my point is if there is real misery in your life money won’t help.
As an example if all your money was hanging by a cliff and so was your new wife…bye, bye, bucks and without a second thought. However if you new wife decided to leave you for Brad Pitt or George Clooney, or Denzel Washington ( the only men who could stand up to you…or me) but you had a zillion dollars you would be miserable.

Money only matters when you don’t have it. Once you have it, you see everything else that’s wrong and can’t be fixed with money. Presumably, this is after you’ve fixed everything that CAN be fixed with money.

I volunteer as a test subject. And that lame-ass control one either.

I agree that some of these women are almost certainly cashing in. The sad part is that it seems unlikely that Tiger would bring a lawsuit against any that are.
If any are telling the truth going to the trouble of suing the liars would just drag the whole thing out. I think he’s more liekyl to try to make this all go away and hope another celebrity train wreck takes the spot light.
Hey look, Courtney Love is loosing custody of her son! Good luck Tiger.
