Keeping it Moving by Q. Reyes – Artistic Warfare #79

September 6, 2010 Q. Reyes 1 Comment

Wow. What an emotionally intense weekend.  I try to stay away from times like these.  I don’t like my feelings and emotions tampered.  I’m not sure if this happens to everyone, but I know that regardless of how many lady friends I have, there’s always one that turns me into silly putty. I hate her for it.

I don’t like the feeling of being under someone else’s control (sort of speak). I guess decisions are still my own, but they are so influenced by this other person.  I’ve tried everything to get rid of her and nothing works.  Finally I gave up, and that doesn’t work either.  Oh, well. Time will tell.

In the past, I would jump into the first relationship that cross my path, and I would try to make it work, whether it worked or not.  Now I’m on the opposite side of the spectrum.  I run away from any and all relationships that require expectations to be met.  Sounds counter-productive, but it actually helps me stay productive and focused.

Women are great motivators for men.  When a man puts it in his head that he wants to impress a woman, nothing stops that goal.  This is the type of motivation that men should learn to focus and channel the right way.  This type of motivation can also be destructive, if goals are not clearly defined.

Right now it’s hard for me to elaborate how I’m feeling because all the turn of events this weekend are still fresh in my mind.  But if anyone knows how to get rid of someone emotionally, please let me know. I can use the advice right about now.  I need to keep it moving.
