I admire honesty that stands firm in the face of political correctness. So it only follows that I would admire Oklahoma’s Republican State Representative Sally Kern.

The folks in the Oklahoma legislature have passed an amendment – which needs to be ratified by the voters – to eliminate affirmative action in the state government, and Ms. Kern supported the bill up the ying-yang.

She says minorities earn less money because they do not work as hard as white people. Clearly she hasn’t met me. In her own words: “We have a high percentage of blacks in prison, and that’s tragic, but are they in prison just because they are black or because they don’t want to study as hard in school? … I’ve taught school,” she added, “and I saw a lot of people of color who didn’t study hard because they said the government would take care of them.” According to the Tulsa World, Ms. Kern also believes there’s a good reason why women do not earn as much money as men. It’s because “they tend to spend more time at home with their families.”

Ms. Kern also introduced a bill to ban Sharia law. According to http://www.zabihah.com/ (try their iPhone app), there are only two halal restaurants in her state, and both are in Oklahoma City. So banning all things Muslim would only have a minor affect on the state’s economy. It wouldn’t do shit for anybody’s security – look at the list of Muslims (and blacks, and women) who were convicted of the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building, but perhaps Ms. Kern was merely confused. “Alfred P. Murrah” does sound like a Muslim name, so maybe that child care center was really a front for a mosque.

At least we now have a reason to reexamine the issue of tenured teachers.

OK. She’s got a problem with blacks, she’s got a problem with women, she’s got a problem with Muslims. But these Americans are not our biggest threat. The biggest threat to America comes from those damned abominations, homosexuals. Ms. Kern says “gays are infiltrating city councils” (as opposed to getting elected to city council) and gay people are “the biggest threat our nation has, even more so than terrorism or Islam, which I think is a big threat.” How nice.

But because of Ms. Kern’s hate-filled Christian-über-alles babblings (did I mention she’s also opposed to the teaching of evolution?), I think we have a pretty good idea where she’s coming from. Unlike, say, Joseph Farah, the editor of World Net Daily. In responding to Obama’s release of his birth certificate, “It would be a big mistake for everyone to jump to a conclusion now based on the release of this document, which raises as many questions as it answers.”

Really? Like what? That long form is pretty short and to the point. Birther idiots across the nation aren’t buying the certificate, perhaps because it doesn’t look like the one they had forged. This has not stopped teevee star and megalomaniac Donald Trump (pictured above) from taking credit for “forcing” Barack Obama to release the document. Despite his amazing ability to actually lose money running a casino, Trump cannot differentiate between a president of the United States being forced to reveal something against his will and the president taking the politically correct version of stating “Here you go, dickwad. Now shut the fuck up.” As if.

Instead, the Donald launched an investigation into Obama’s college records. Yes, the Donald wants to know this smarmy commie Negro managed to get into Columbia University and then get into Harvard. Was it really on his merits? Really?

Obama should release those records right after Trump releases his financial records.

The Republican Party of Susan B. Anthony, Clara Barton, Everett Dirksen, Fredrick Douglass, Barry Goldwater, Abraham Lincoln, Jackie Robinson, Teddy Roosevelt, and Robert Taft has been reduced to hate, fear and hysteria. If today’s Republicans applied the same standards to these great people as they do to Barack Obama and his supporters, then they would be decrying Anthony, Barton, Dirksen, Douglass, Goldwater, Lincoln, Robinson, Roosevelt and Taft as godless socialists out to destroy the American Way of Life… assuming these clowns know who these great Republicans were.

It’s very sad. The inmates are running the asylum.
