“I didn’t know you were an artist!”
“You still draw?”
“Why don’t you paint anymore?”
“What happened to those nude photos you took of me?”
If I had a dollar for every time I’ve heard the above statements I’d be a very rich man.
I’m an artist. I’ve been an artist since the sixth grade. That’s around 15 years ago Jean.
What?
Anyway, I am an artist and quite frankly I’ve always been an artist. The reason my work has not been seen in a while is because I’ve been perfecting my style.
In response to a drawing I posted on Facebook I decided to show some of my new work here on Michael Davis World.
The following work is from an upcoming Graphic Novel I’m doing on the Civil Rights struggle called The Movement. All the work is 20 inches x30 inches the medium is pen and ink.
All of the pages here are double page spreads.
Because of the outstanding response to the work on Facebook and the DEMAND to own some of the art I am going to do a limited edition print run of 40,000. You can own a print for $20,000 if you want it signed the price is a mere $100,000.
LIMIT ONE TO A HOUSEHOLD!!
I hope you enjoy the work from The Movement. The original art will be showcased at my Museum Of Modern Art one-man show called Michael Davis A life in Art.

Reg,
Thank you.
Time Magazine has called my new work “Simply put, these new works by Michael Davis make him the Best Artist Who Ever Lived.”
I’m very proud of that.

Steve,
They won’t take ‘no’ for an answer so to get me to design all their covers they said they would rename the magazine ‘The New Hood.’ I told them I’d think about it.
