MICHAEL DAVIS WORLD

You can't make this stuff up, so we don't!

Why oh why am I dealing with the same old shit I deal with every year?

Before I elaborate on my opening statement I’ll give a bit of background. You remember that movie where the cute little white boy said, “I see dead people”?

Well I also process a supernatural power. I see opportunity.

Really.

I have the uncanny ability to see things clearly before they play out fully.

Really.

I can predict with uncanny accurately what will happen in the future based on the conditions of the present.

Laugh if you want, but I can.

I won’t bore you with the many predictions I’ve made over the years but you should know that the clout I have at Comic Con is because I pay attention to what’s going on and build on that.

Think about this, every year I give a huge party at Comic Con and every year I have people who have no idea what the fuck I do begging to get into my party. Every year I give a dinner at Comic Con and every year I get another bunch of people trying to get invited to that dinner and those people don’t know what I do.

Why?

Getthefuckoutofhere.

I did not unlock the secret of the universe just to give it away. So as I’ve said, Getthefuckoutofhere.

This year at Comic Con I have a lot of events planned. The Black Panel, a dinner and a party.

Every year right before Comic Con I get a GRIP of people trying to be my best friend so they can be included. Guess what? I don’t make those decisions. Tatiana makes those decisions.

Yeah, it’s my party and I can cry if I want to but it’s her decision whether or not you will see me cry.

Ha!

So, if by some chance you think you can appeal to my nice guy nature and score an invite to my dinner or party, the answer is yes!

But I’m a nice guy, Tatiana’s a bitch, so good luck with that.

At the last minute I couldn’t go to the party last year even though I was invited. I’m an idiot, I know.

….what about bacon? (since everything is better with) But seriously, the panel looks like it will be a blast. You’ve been working hard on pulling it all together and it looks like it will be paying off in a matter of days! Congrats!!

Actually, if I was going to try to beg anybody into the party, it’d be my former brother-in-law, just so I could have a picture of Dr. Michael Davis and Dr. Michael Davis together. 🙂

Besides, I’m just this broke-ass cracker who can’t even get to SDCC, so try to hide your sorrow at my absence and have fun anyway, MOTU!

Wait a minute. There’s gonna be bacon?

    And Tatiana’s nobody’s bitch.

Being ‘a bitch’ is vastly different than being ‘someone’s bitch.’ And we all agree that Tatiana is no one’s bitch.

Also-nobody put’s Tatiana in the corner either.

    Really.

Wish I could be there, assuming I could get in.

One year, I need to save up for San Diego for the chance to at least be in the vicinity of these festivities that probably make Mardi Gras look like bingo night at a nursing home.

Is your party inside the convention center or out? I do not have tickets to the covention but I am in the city for the week and would attend your party. btw: are there other convention festivities at venues outside of the convention center I could experience?
