Remember just a few weeks after getting their ass kicked in the November elections, the leader of the Republican Party announced a “rebranding” of the party? He commissioned and received a report that pretty much said, “The GOP is FUCKED UP and it’s our own fault. “

The following is an except from that report:

“Niggers don’t like us, spics don’t like us, faggots don’t like us, and women won’t fuck us… and don’t like us either.”

OK. I kid. I jest – that’s not what it said.

Heh.

The 2012 elections saw the GOP get beat like a pimp beats the ass of his bottom Ho when she dares question his pimp hand. Like any smart Ho, the GOP, in a much-hyped media onslaught, swore to the world they would turn over a new leaf.

Bullshit.

Among other things since that “rebranding,” House Republicans chose to vote overpoweringly for a restructured, even more conservative form of the notorious budget, authored by asswipe Rep. Paul Ryan. He of the lost to the Negro Romney / Ryan GOP Presidential nominees Ryan’s.

That budget helped define them during the 2012 campaign, and it did more than help defeat them at the polls.

The “rebranding” that was to, among other things, focus on inclusion of minorities (African Americans, Latino Americans, Asian Americans), women, and gays, and present a more compassionate Grand Old Party.

The following is a little (and I mean little) of what’s come out of the party since Chairman Reince Priebus announced the rebranding and commitment of $10 million dollars to help do so.

  • Failed to pass immigration reform

  • Objected to the violence against women act

  • Cut $40 billion for food stamps

  • Bill banning abortions at 20 weeks

  • Proposed “one man, one woman” law to protect conservative groups

  • Republican governors and legislators pushing for and getting strict Jim Crow like voting laws passed

I would not be surprised if the 2014 midterm election slogan for the Republican Party is as follows:

“The NEW GOP! NO BLACKS, NO JEWS, NO GAYS…and fuck the Mexicans too!”

Clearly the party, after MUCH contemplation, saw the aftermath of the election and in their unwavering refusal to literally see the writing on the wall, thought that the appropriate policy response was to change nothing.

As far as a more compassionate GOP, those kindhearted House Republicans voted for a bill that would cut SNAP benefits (food stamps) by $40 billion over 10 years. The identical Republicans hived food stamps off of the farm bill, voted for extravagant subsidies for…wait for it…wait for it…WAIT FOR IT… millionaires in the agriculture industry.

Furthermore (as if THIS is a surprise), they reject any cutting of tax benefits for  wealthy earners or corporations by one fucking cent but $40 billion to STOP feeding people? Done.

Needless to say, this is somehow all Obama’s fault, as is the current Government shutdown.

The Right wing media is on 24/7 continuous loop, broadcasting that Obama won’t negotiate.

(Yes my Facebook friends, the following comes from a Facebook rant)

Why should he negotiate?? Why would he negotiate?

He won! The people have spoken. Why would you negotiate something that you already have, that’s been upheld by two massive landslide election victories and the Supreme Court? I already own my house – it’s mine, free and clear, and I have no intention of leaving, but would I entertain offers?

Sure! But those offers have to be a much better deal than I have now.

Why would I give up a million-dollar home in the suburbs and renegotiate for a studio apartment in the hood? THAT makes no fucking sense.

The Supreme Court upheld the Affordable Care Act, and it is NOW the law of the land.

The government closing down over a law, which is legally on the books, is his fault?

The law that was upheld by the conservative leaning Supreme Court? His fault? We live in a democracy, and as such that democracy voted twice to implement the policies of President Barack Obama.

He won.

THAT was his fault.

OR to put it another way, Judd Legum tweeted the following, and it brilliantly sums up the mindset of the Republican leaders, and thank you Stuart Kaufmam for sending it to me.

Can I burn down your house?

No.

Just the 2nd floor?

No.

Garage?

No.

Let’s talk about what I can burn down.

No.

YOU AREN’T COMPROMISING!

Remember the bottom Ho I spoke of?  She’s dead. She kept thinking she was smarter than her pimp, and one day he just got sick of that shit.

I’m sure the GOP is about to learn that very same lesson and here’s why: the GOP THINKS they’re the Pimp.

No.

They the Ho.

They serve the will of the people. At anytime, the people can pimp slap them into submission and warn them just whose Bitch they are.

That warning came last November. Pimps only warn you once.

I sort of pity them, Michael. Nowadays, the only people the GOP appeals to are the so-called “Crazy 20%”. Those are the hard right, the old white males, the Tea Party dudes, the 20% that will support the GOP no matter what.

Did I say no matter what? I lied. Would they keep supporting a GOP that recognized poor Latinos are human, even the ones without their papers in order? That is just one example, but a GOP that is softer on immigration would probably lose the support of the xenophobe southern white guys that want illegals shot on sight, and there is no guarantee that they’d win the Latino vote.

The same is true for gays, blacks, women, young people, etc. Any good faith toward any of those groups would anger the crazy 20% that think women should be mothers and wives first, blacks should stop being lazy parasites, gays should stop being gay, and young people should stop encouraging the other three.

You’ve got it wrong, my friend. The Neo-Cons organized back in the late 60s because the hippie chicks would only fuck liberals, radicals and dopers. That was before the Neo-Cons discovered weed and became Libertarians.

The Tea Baggers (yeah, I’m back to that for the duration of their hissy fit) discovered weed a long, long time ago, proving not all highs are good highs. But their problem isn’t that women wouldn’t fuck them. Their problem is they don’t like sex that involves pleasing someone else.

What bothers me is that the media continues to report that it’s both sides that are at fault rather than expose the republicans for the terrorists that they are. This way the dumbed down average Joe thinks that it’s the president’s fault for not “negotiating”.

Lorenzo, are you referring to the “liberal media”?

I finally figured out the GOP’s rhetoric this week, in the run up to their shutdown. They are an abusive partner, the public is the victim. Listen carefully when they start in on Obama for not negotiating (which he doesn’t need to do since a pluarity of the populace enforced his policies by re-electing him). You’ll hear “Why are you making me do this to you?”.

I love my country I really, really do. I’d like to love it more but SOME (not all by any means) in the GOP keeps giving me reason not to.

    Pity, I’m a FANTASTIC lover.
