Kevin McCarthy used to be a comic book writer, artist and editor. His credits included Casual Heroes from Image Comics/Motown Animation, Marvel’s Spider-Man Team Up, DC’s Orion, Top Cow’s Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Dynamite Entertainment’s Army of Darkness, UMI/Guardian’s The Seekers, ALIEN8 for Disney, and Dark Horse’s Eisner Award-winning anthology Michael Chabon Presents The Amazing Adventures of the Escapist. His story “The Mechanist,” drawn by Bill Sienkiewicz, was recognized by Houghton Mifflin as one of “100 Distinguished Comics” in their collection The Best American Comics. Blah, blah, blah. Now he mostly shovels snow and looks for work. Go to http://mccarthy-comics.com/ and laugh at his misfortune.

I click, and I click, but the blasted image won’t ENLARGE. Please remedy this, or I may have to develop a DEATH RAY after all.

Take it easy, “Whizzard.” I’ve alerted the website administrator to the problem.

If I had to pick a favorite panel, I still couldn’t.

I like the first panel.
The main characters have been around for a while, but the harpy and the tortoise are appearing for the first time in this story. So far, the tortoise is my favorite.

Seeing full page comics like this from you again just reminds me of the last two City Pages Comix issues. Memories….
BTW, I love the Giant Tortoise house. Classic.
