Democracy Outdated? A better way is possible? Really?, by Q. Reyes – Artistic Warfare #13

Yes. I am developing a better system than democracy to rule ourselves. Call it what you want, but it’s better than just sitting at home waiting for politicians to “save us”.

Last week I discussed the first part of La Optima – which is what I call this new system. I gave a brief overview of the roles of Philosophers and Leaders, respectively.

Here I’ll briefly describe the roles of Public Servants (Producers/Builders), Specialist, Limited and finally, the controversial Destitutes (Rebels).

Public Servants are just what they sound like: Public Servants. They are your Doctors, Lawyers, Teachers and anyone that needs an education or specific training in order to understand their profession and/or profit from providing a service to society members directly.

Another category in the same realm of Public Servants is that of Producers/Builders. The Producers and Builders are the main people that keep economic factors moving forward. Producers and Builders produce products or build structures under the guidance and delegation of the Leaders. These products or structures, for the most part, will benefit society in general. Not just in our country, but throughout the world.

Producers and Builders are the largest roles within an Optima system and their complexity will range from industry to industry. Producers and Builders will carry the country’s economy, just like today, except they will be empowered to make adjustments to the changes in supply and demand. Nowadays, the government has a very, very heavy hand in our current supply and demand – and judging by our economic status, they’re not very good at managing this.

We then have our Specialists, which are those, mostly, but no necessarily, without intense education or training. These are the janitors, gardeners, and even artists. Anyone can choose to become a specialist, and people will most likely become a specialist by default, unless they choose otherwise. Specialists are extremely important in maintaining society functional and will handle many critical details.

The Limited are what we call today “Handicap” or “Disabled.” In an Optima system they are not consider either Handicap or Disable. They are people limited in an area, physical or mental, but limitless in other areas.

The Limited are in the same realm of Specialists and will not be treated differently than anyone else in society. Anyone suffering from a physical disability or a mental disorder will still be seen as a functional member of society. In an Optima system there will be no discrimination or pity for the Limited. There are plenty of jobs that they will do, and do well – of course, with the exception to those with issues that might be a danger to their health or to other’s wellbeing.

Finally, Destitutes – the people that make the wrong choices in their lives. Murderers, drug addicts, etc. To become a Destitute is a choice. You chose the path that leads you to Destitution. This is unlike the Caste system where you are born into a Caste. Destitution in an Optima system is a complete choice. Around this realm are also Rebels – but only those that act upon their rebellion to disrupt other people’s lives. For example, someone that feels everyone should worship their god, so they start physically beating up people that don’t worship their god.

Of course this is a brief overview of the roles. There are many, many subcategories within these roles and their makeup is embedded into the individual roles. The economic structure of La Optima will be such to support these roles.

The main goal of La Optima is to create an effective, efficient, non-emotional, all-inclusive system of rule. The laws we live by today, are written to benefit the majority of society, not all of society. How much of a bigger flaw do we need in a governmental system? Why do the little people have to fight for what they deserve? Why is the color of our skin still a factor today? Why is our education system not growing? Why don’t we have a say on what countries we should invade? Why can’t we al profit from the war? (It’s our tax money funding it, after all) Why can’t we buy Cuban cigars in this country? It’s all stupid, and it has been stupid since the 500 BC – when the Greeks came up with the basis for Democracy. It’s time to start fixing things from scratch.

… and why would “the man” want to change things? Its perfect for him right now. His only job is to “act” like he cares and make us think that we’re in power. The funny part is that “the man” laughs at how stupid we are – but can’t blame him, I would too.

Gotta go take a hit now…

first off, the founding fathers already found a great system of government, its called a REPUBLIC.

we LIVE IN A REPUBLIC, the lobbyists, moneymen, and sellout politicians try to pass this off as a democracy.

a REPUBLIC is a society ruled by LAW. a democracy is a society ruled by popular vote, which can become corrupted, such as politicians as Obama, Bush, Clinton, Reagan, etc.

    we live in a REPUBLIC,
free the REPUBLIC, do not vote or endorse the ideals of the so called elite. do not endorse moneymen or lobbyists.

    vote for PEACE.

This REPUBLIC bushwah is an old NEWT gingrich TALKING POINT. Word up: A republic is one sort of DEMOCRACY.

Both Democrats and Republicans love our democratic republic. Republicans play this silly word game because they know it’s easier than putting forth and following through on their issues (War, de-funding the military, running to tax havens, etc.). Genius Newt thinks that if he just hammers on the “this is a republic not a democracy” he’ll get more votes or pussy or wives or something to fill the great hole in his soul.
