Lessons from Comic-Con by Q. Reyes – Artistic Warfare #75

I have to say that a GREAT time is an understatement when speaking of MOTU’s party in San Diego.
Besides the good networking and checking out Bill Duke in his nice hat, just doing him (and attracting all the attention without even trying), I have to say that I learned a lot.
Lesson #1 – Salvadoreans are NOT Mexicans – I learned this lesson from a drunk young lady that is proud of her culture. I guess she mistook my interest for actually caring. Lesson learned: Don’t act like I care.
Lesson #2 – White women LOVE Black men. It’s always that 6’5″ dude with a trimmed goatee that gets all the White women. I’m tired of that shit. Not that I want White women, its just nice to have options once in a while.
Lesson #3 – MOTU looks good in white. Nice jacket. (Didn’t see many Asian women at the party though – I hope his libido isn’t declining).
Lesson #4 – I heard some dude got stabbed during Comic-Con. (But I also heard that a bunch of women got stabbed, too).
Lesson #5 – Sushi tastes all the same when you’re hungry. (The sushi was the only Asian MOTU ate last night)
Lesson #6 – I need a Dark Vader mask or a Superman cape. I saw dude’s in Dark Vader masks pick up hot chicks. I’m gonna try that.
Lesson #7 – There’s no Latino Panel at Comic-Con!
Lesson #8 – I don’t remember from this point on. ( I woke up at a Motel 6 in Fresno the next day wearing nothing but a Dark Vader mask and MOTU’s white jacket).
I wrote this article on my way to the Greyhound station.

“Didn’t see many Asian women at the party”
Obviously they were stopped at the door and escorted to the REAL party, which had a far more cozy atmosphere.

Keu,
You say so much yet no so little…
There were hundreds of Asian women at my party. I had the entire club, the VIP room was just for people I deemed cool enough to speak to. If you have trouble remembering the VIP room for next year it’s the room you won’t be able to get into, that should refresh your memory.
No Asian women at my party? Yeah, that’s possible.

@MOTU What are you talking about? I had a great time.
@VINNIE Why are you hating? Were you even at the party?

Vinnie,
Anyone who did not have an invite was stopped at the door…and anyone from DC.
“REAL PARTY” ? Is you stupid?? MOTU not having a REAL party? That’s like saying The Beatles were Paul McCarthy’s first back up band.

–Looks around–
So the concept that Michael would divert the Asian women to his own private party was not seen as a) funny b) entirely feasible?
Truly sarcasm does not translate over the Internet.

Okay, I guess there’s a misunderstanding here… so you were being sarcastic, and in fact, you were saying that MOTU was diverting Asian women to HIS party… the confusion is due to the fact that this was already MOTU’s party… so your comment came off as a diss towards MOTU…
I guess you Is Not Stupid. Well, you missed a great time… I’m not sure if they were Asian, but I’m going to be seeing some of the young ladies I met that night again in about 9 months… oh!!!

Vinnie- clearly Keu does not know just how cool you and I are. You are welcome to any event I give.
Your sarcasm is safe here my friend.
