Disney Dreams, by Tatiana – In The Mix #45

I don’t want the public to see the world they live in while they’re in the park. I want them to feel they’re in another world.
-Walt Disney
A few months ago, I was fortunate enough to share my home away from home with fellow MDW columnists and Disney Fanatics, Art Tebbel and Martha Thomases. The day was filled with fun and nerdy sparring of who had the most random Disneyland facts and trivia. I know many people may not understand my love of Disneyland, but it truly manifests childlike playfulness and the ability to let go and escape to land of imagination and wonder.
Some people have alcohol and drugs, I have Disneyland.

“Some people have alcohol and drugs, I have Disneyland.” And some of us have all three.

A $500 a day drug habit is cheaper than Disney. More fun to…I’ve heard…heh.

Depends on whether or not you choose to eat.
I half expected to lead into the story about the muslim girl who wanted to wear her hijab (I had a 1 in 3 shot of getting that right) at work and they didn’t want her to. Curious to see what folks here think of that

I’m OK with whatever anyone wants to wear as long as it is appropriate for the work place.
I see no problem with a muslim girl wearing that. Women where scarfs to work all the time. It’s out of fashion but it still happens.
