Last week I wrote about not having enough time to really enjoy Comic Con. This week I’m knee deep in preparations for all the things I have going on at Comic Con. I don’t want anyone to think I’m not happy with my lot in life while at Comic Con so I wrote the following.

Like I mentioned last week, every year I give a party and host the Black Panel at Comic Con. Preparing for both of those events are time consuming to say the least.

This year’s Black Panel is a tribute to my fallen friend and partner Dwayne McDuffie. The panel takes place Friday July 22^nd Room 5AB 10-1130.

It will be a joyous celebration of Dwayne’s life and work. I hope I will see you there.

Wayne Brady hosts my party this year. It will be off the hook! Wayne is not just the host but the party is in celebration of his work and to welcome him to Comic Con.

What a lot of people don’t know is Wayne is a serious geek. Wayne is into comics, animation, toys etc. Wayne has never been to comic con and he’s jazzed about it!

The party is Saturday night July 24.

If  you are a MDW regular and are going to be at Comic Con I’d love to see you there.
